FA Cup 2021/22 – 5th Rd tie-by-tie preview
The 150th anniversary of the FA Cup continues on Tuesday 1st March with the 5th Round, and during that week and the following Monday, 16 clubs from the Premier League, EFL Championship and the National League, will battle it out for a place in the Quarter Finals.
One specific quirk of this season’s 5th Round is that the away team has a better head-to-head record in the competition against their respective home team opponents in all ties (except for Everton vs Boreham Wood, who are unsurprisingly meeting in the FA Cup for the first time).
