Tie No. 1 Woking (National League) v Peterborough United (EFL 1)

Levels: Level 5 v Level 3 (Sunday 2.0pm)

Best Runs: Round 4 v QUARTER FINALS

History: No previous FA Cup meetings.

Facts: Woking is appearing in the 2nd Round for the second successive season having already defeated one EFL 1 club with a best ever margin of victory over a League side (3-0). It is 21 years since the Cards made the 3rd Round. Peterborough United has only once gone out of FA Cup as early as the 2nd Round in the last 11 seasons.

 

Tie No. 2 Milton Keynes Dons (EFL 1) v Maidstone United (National League)

Levels: Level 3 v Level 5 (Saturday 3.0pm)

Best Runs: Round 5 v Round 2

History: No previous FA Cup meetings.

Facts: Milton Keynes Dons has only once exited the FA Cup as early as the 2nd Round in the last six seasons. Maidstone United are looking to emulate the original Maidstone United club by reaching the 3rd Round of the FA Cup for the first ever time

 

 

 

Tie No. 3 Newport County (EFL 2) v Cambridge United (EFL 2)

Levels: Level 4 v Level 4 (Sunday 2.0pm)

Best Runs: Round 3 v QUARTER FINALS

History: No previous FA Cup meetings. However, Cambridge United did beat original Newport County 2-1 in a 1953/54 1st Round replay.

Facts: Newport County is one win away from equalling the club’s best FA Cup run since re-forming in 1989. Cambridge United has exited the FA Cup in the 2nd Round twice in the last four seasons.

 

 

 

Tie No. 4 Wycombe Wanderers (EFL 2) v Leatherhead (Isthmian League Premier)

Levels: Level 4 v Level 7 (Sunday 2.0pm)

Best Runs: SEMI FINALS v Round 4            

History: No previous FA Cup meetings since.

Facts: Wycombe Wanderers is tracking to a 5th Round exit this season after reaching 2nd Round, 3rd Round and 4th Round successively in the last three seasons. Leatherhead is the lowest ranked team remaining in the FA Cup and the club is looking to make the 3rd Round for just the second time ever, last doing so in the 1974/75 season.

 

Tie No. 5 Port Vale (EFL 2) v Yeovil Town (EFL 2)

Levels: Level 4 v Level 4 (Saturday 3.0pm)

Best Runs: SEMI FINALS v Round 5

History: No previous FA Cup meetings.

Facts: Port Vale is tracking to a 4th Round exit this season after successively going out in the 1st Round, 2nd Round and 3rd Round over the last three seasons. Yeovil Town has only gone beyond the 2nd Round three times in the last 12 seasons. Although all three came in the last four years.

 

 

Tie No. 6 Shrewsbury Town (EFL 1) v Morecambe (EFL 2)

Levels: Level 3 v Level 4 (Saturday 3.0pm)

Best Runs: QUARTER FINALS v Round 3

History: One previous FA Cup meeting 15 years ago when both clubs were Non-League teams. Shrewsbury Town won 4-2 in that 4th Qualifying Round tie.

Facts: Shrewsbury Town has only progressed beyond the 2nd Round of the FA Cup three times in the last 21 seasons. Morecambe is looking to equal the club’s best ever FA Cup run for the 4th time, last achieved 16 years ago.

 

Tie No. 7 Doncaster Rovers (EFL 1) v Scunthorpe United (EFL 1)

Levels: Level 3 v Level 3 (Sunday 2.0pm)

Best Runs: Round 5 v Round 5

History: Two previous FA Cup meetings both won by Scunthorpe United, the first of which occurred 103 years ago.

Facts: Doncaster Rovers has only failed to go beyond the 2nd Round three times in the last 12 seasons. Although the club was exempted until the 3rd Round in five of those years. Scunthorpe United has only progressed beyond this round twice in the last six seasons.

 

 

 

Tie No. 8 Slough Town (Southern League Premier) v Rochdale (EFL 1)

Levels: Level 7 v Level 3 (Monday 7.45pm)

Best Runs: Round 2 v Round 5

History: No previous FA Cup meetings.

Facts: Slough Town is appearing in the 2nd Round of the FA Cup for the seventh time. Defeat this year would mean the Rebels would hold the record for most 2nd Round exits without ever going further. Rochdale is competing in the FA Cup for the 100th time and has progressed beyond this round three times in the last four seasons.

 

Tie No. 9 AFC Wimbledon (EFL 1) v Charlton Athletic (EFL 1)

Levels: Level 3 v Level 3 (Sunday 2.0pm)

Best Runs: Round 3 v WINNERS

History: No previous FA Cup meetings.

Facts: AFC Wimbledon is looking to reach a club best run to the FA Cup 3rd Round for the third time in four seasons. Last season was the first time in seven years that Charlton Athletic exited the FA Cup as early as the 2nd Round.

 

 

 

 

Tie No. 10 Stevenage (EFL 2) v Swindon Town (EFL 2)

Levels: Level 4 v Level 4 (Saturday 3.0pm)

Best Runs: Round 5 v SEMI FINALS

History: One previous FA Cup meeting 20 years ago won 2-1 by Stevenage when they were a Non-League side and Swindon Town were a Level 2 club.

Facts: Stevenage has failed to go beyond the 2nd Round in each of the last three seasons. This is the first time in six seasons that Swindon Town has made it as far as the 2nd Round.

 

 

 

Tie No. 11 Mansfield Town (EFL 2) v Guiseley (National League)

History: No previous FA Cup meetings.

Facts: It is five years since Mansfield Town progressed beyond the 2nd Round of the FA Cup. Guiseley is appearing in the 2nd Round for the 1st time ever in the club’s 51st FA Cup campaign after having reached the 1st Round for the 7th time this year.

 

 

 

Tie No. 12 Gateshead (National League) v Luton Town (EFL 2)

Levels: Level 5 v Level 4 (Sunday 2.0pm)

Best Runs: Round 3 v RUNNERS-UP

History: No previous FA Cup meetings, although Luton Town twice faced a previous Gateshead club either side of World War I, winning one and losing one against them when called South Shields.

Facts: Gateshead looking to make the FA Cup 3rd Round for only the 2nd time, last doing so just three seasons ago. Over last 10 seasons Luton Town has gone out in the 2nd Round or earlier in half their campaigns.

 

 

Tie No. 13 Bradford City (EFL 1) v Plymouth Argyle (EFL 1)

Levels: Level 3 v Level 3 (Saturday 3.0pm)

Best Runs: WINNERS v SEMI FINALS

History: No previous FA Cup meetings despite the fact that both clubs are competing in in for the 105th time.

Facts: Bradford City has only progressed beyond the 2nd Round of the FA Cup three times in the last 13 seasons, although the club did reach the Quarter Finals just three years ago. Plymouth Argyle has only twice gone beyond this round in the last seven seasons, and last made the Quarter Finals 11 years ago.

 

 

 

Tie No. 14 Blackburn Rovers (EFL 1) v Crewe Alexandra (EFL 2)

Levels: Level 3 v Level 4 (Sunday 2.0pm)

Best Runs: WINNERS v SEMI FINALS

History: Two previous FA Cup meetings with one win apiece, although Crewe Alexandra were the last club to knock Blackburn Rovers out of the FA Cup as early as the 2nd Round 45 years ago.

Facts: Blackburn Rovers is appearing in the FA Cup 2nd Round for the first time since the 1974-75 season. They are competing in FA Cup for the 125th time but it is nine years since Crewe Alexandra last progressed beyond the 2nd Round of the competition.

 

Tie No. 15 AFC Fylde (National League) v Wigan Athletic (EFL 1)

Levels: Level 5 v Level 3 (Friday 7.45pm)

Best Runs: Round 1 v WINNERS

History: No previous FA Cup meetings.

Facts: AFC Fylde is appearing in the FA Cup 2nd Round for the first time in the club’s 10th campaign. Wigan Athletic are the most recent winners of the FA Cup appearing in this year’s 2nd Round having lifted the trophy just five seasons ago.

Facts: It is six years since Gillingham last progressed beyond the 2nd Round of the FA Cup. Carlisle United has achieved four 3rd Round appearances in the last eight seasons

 

 

Tie No. 17 Notts County (EFL 2) v Oxford City (National League South)

Levels: Level 4 v Level 6 (Saturday 12.30 pm)

Best Runs: WINNERS v Round 2

History: No previous FA Cup meetings.

Facts: It is six years since Notts County progressed beyond the 2nd Round of the FA Cup. Oxford City is appearing in the 2nd Round for only the second ever time, the last time way back in the 1969-70 season. It is the first time in 67 years City has gone further in the FA Cup than Oxford United.

 

 

 

Tie No. 18 Forest Green Rovers (EFL 2) v Exeter City (EFL 2)

History: One previous FA Cup meeting, a 1st Round tie 15 years ago won 2-1 by Exeter City in a replay.

Facts: Forest Green Rovers are looking to equal the club’s best ever FA Cup run to the 3rd Round for the third time, last achieved eight years ago. Exeter City is competing in FA Cup for the 100th time but has only reached the 3rd Round once in the club’s last 12 campaigns.

 

Tie No. 19 Fleetwood Town (EFL 1) v Hereford (Southern League Premier)

Levels: Level 3 v Level 7 (Saturday 3.0pm)

Best Runs: Round 3 v 3rd qualifying

History: No previous FA Cup meetings.

Facts: Fleetwood Town is looking to equal the club’s best ever FA Cup run by reaching the 3rd Round for the third time and for the second year running. Hereford is competing in FA Cup for just the second time and are already just two rounds behind the furthest Hereford United ever progressed to in the competition.

 

Tie No. 20 Coventry City (EFL 2) v Boreham Wood (National League)

Levels: Level 4 v Level 5 (Sunday 2.0pm)

Best Runs: WINNERS v Round 2

History: No previous FA Cup meetings.

Facts: It is four years since Coventry City last progressed beyond the 2nd Round of the FA Cup. Boreham Wood is appearing in the club’s record FA Cup run to the 2nd Round for the third time, and for the first time in 20 years.
